Ann is a badly disguised scientist who writes science fiction and fantasy. She’s published a dozen short stories in various anthologies and Buzzy Mag. Convinced that she’s funny, she likes to compete in the annual WCDR (Writers Circle of Durham Region) poetry SLAM competition and has been a finalist three years in a row.
With support from the Ontario Arts Council and the WCDR, she is marketing a completed novel while working on a new one, about 29th Century grifters. For a day job, she’s done many things, including teaching at the post-secondary level, living among investment bankers, and assisting start-up companies with novel technologies, none of which involve creating new life forms, she promises.
