Brain Lag has just announced the release date of The Earthborn, the first novel of SF Canada member Arlene Marks’ new series about the space alien immigrant experience on Earth! Cover art and the preordering period will be available in January, with publication scheduled for May 2023, according to the press release.

Two hundred years after a zombie plague, the real danger begins…

Aaron Zahira is looking for a different way of life and falls in with a group of mercenaries hired for jobs that take them into the badlands; places where wraiths and werewolves hunt for new meat, where vampires nest in crumbling steel lairs, and where the remains of the dead lurk in dark places, waiting.

SF Canada member Sherry D. Ramsey has a new book out: A Veiled and Distant Sky. It’s the fourth book in her Nearspace series.

SF Canada member Sandra A Hunter recently released Book 1 in her new Dragon Heir series. Daughter of Earth & Fire, The Fledgling is an urban fantasy novel.

Daughter of Earth & Fire follows protagonist Jayda along with a group of human/dragon shifters who work as flight instructors. They are swept up in a hidden climate war with the future of our planet at stake.
